On our 15th birthday, we have a big birthday wish and we need your
help to make it come true. We're launching our "Year of
Kindness" initiative: challenging our community to complete one
million acts of kindness for people with autism by the end of 2020.
Acts of kindness can include everything from lending a helping hand to a friend,
neighbor or colleague on the spectrum, to volunteering at an Autism
Speaks event to joining our #KindnessCounts challenge on social media.

Help us reach our goal of 1,000 Kindness Breaks this April and one
million acts of kindness this year!

What better way to create connection and community than by sharing a
cup of kindness? As a part of the Autism Speaks Year of Kindness, we
are launching a new way to raise funds to support our mission. When
you take a Kindness Break with Autism Speaks, you decide what goes in the cup and the format of your break and we all gain a world with more acceptance and
understanding. We're brimming with kindness and want YOU to be part of
it!
What Does Kindness Mean to You?
We believe that #KindnessCounts, and together, we can create a kinder,
more inclusive world for people with autism and their families.
That's why we are asking you take the kindness pledge and help us reach 1 million acts of kindness in 2020: [link removed]
Autism POVs: The new Autism Speaks
In this special episode of the podcast, we'll talk about some exciting changes happening at Autism Speaks! Join us as we celebrate 15 years of progress as we reintroduce ourselves and kick off a campaign to make 2020 the "Year of
Kindness" We understand that some sensory differences make it
difficult to listen to people speaking with music layered under them,
so we offer a music-less version of our podcast. We even have the full
transcript of the episode available for those with sensitivities.
