"All public service is a trust, given in faith and accepted in honor.”

John, those are the words inscribed over the front door of the Finance Building in Harrisburg, where I began my public service as PA’s Auditor General.

But they’re so much more than words to me.

One thing you might not know about me is that my wife, Terese, and I raised our four daughters in the same community where I grew up — my hometown of Scranton, PA.

Pennsylvania has been and always will be my home. If there is anything I've learned from serving my home state, it’s that PA’s hardworking people need an actual champion in Washington — which brings me back to those words.

All public service is a trust, given in faith. As your Senator, I am reminded every day that you have put your trust in me to fight for what’s right.

And accepted in honor. I work to earn that trust by standing up for you and your families: against Republican attacks on Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid; against tax cuts for the ultra-rich; against countries like China that threaten our jobs with unfair trade practices; and against big health care companies raising costs for the middle class.

John, my record as Senator makes it clear who I’m fighting for in Washington. But there’s still more work to cut through the gridlock, stand up to powerful special interests, and make the lives of hardworking Pennsylvanians a little bit easier. And the stakes are too high to sit out this election.

That’s why I am once again asking for the honor of your trust:

I’m running for re-election because I want to continue to fight for you and your family in the Senate. Our 2024 re-election fight promises to be among the most expensive and competitive Senate races in the country. I will do whatever it takes to defend this seat and our Democratic Majority — and I’m asking you to split a donation between our Governor Josh Shapiro and my campaign to fuel the fight.
