John, we wanted to give you the latest update about our fight for fair maps – there’s good news and bad news.

The good news is that, ahead of last November’s elections, the fair maps movement helped achieve the fairest congressional maps in a generation.

But the bad news is that Republicans are ALREADY working across the country to roll back our progress and manipulate maps before 2024.

Here’s how A.G. Holder described it:

“As a result of our work, Americans have the fairest congressional map in decades, and more fair state legislative maps than before. That is real progress in the fight for a representative democracy.

But Republicans are attempting right now to reverse that progress as a central part of their political strategy going into next year’s election and will continue to do so in the years that follow.”

– Attorney General Eric Holder

There’s more good news, John: The NDR PAC and our affiliates have a plan to fight back, and we want you to be a part of it.

Huffington Post:
“Top Democratic Redistricting Group Gears Up For Era Of ‘Perpetual’ Combat”

“[NDR PAC’s affiliate] The National Democratic Redistricting Committee announced plans . . . to train its resources on 13 states in the 2024 election cycle . . . legal battles persist and elections for positions with influence over redistricting loom on the horizon.”

The truth is that redistricting is no longer a once-in-a-decade event. The fight for fair maps is happening every day across the country, and whether we prevail will have huge consequences for the 2024 election.

We know that our strategy of working to elect leaders who will protect fair maps victories, prevent unfair gerrymandering, and propel fair redistricting works – we have the track record to prove it.

So our only question is this: Are you still with us in the next stage of our fight?
