My budget is a plan that promotes affordability, fiscal responsibility, and economic opportunity. It includes record amounts of property tax relief, makes critical investments in our future, and pays down the debts of the past.

It projects the largest surplus in the state’s history, so taxpayers can rest assured that their government is working strategically and responsibly to put money back into their pockets.

This budget will double the Child Tax Credit, invest nearly a billion dollars into education, lower health care costs for seniors and children, and support new and small businesses. All with no new taxes or fees.

With these critical investments, we’re getting the American Dream working for everyone. We’re building a future where you can do better than your parents and your children can do better than you.

New Jersey is stronger, fairer, and fiscally healthier than it was six years ago. This budget will build on that progress — but only if we can get it passed before the July 1st deadline, which is coming up quick.
