I am so thrilled to invite you to join USGLC virtually for our third annual Heartland Summit on Thursday, June 29 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. CT.

As our regional community comes together, this summit – a half-day conference – will showcase how strategic investments in agriculture, diplomacy, and global development are creating jobs at home and abroad, feeding the hungry, and keeping Americans safe.

We will be broadcasting from two locations this year.

On stage in Detroit, MI, we will be joined in conversation by Representatives Haley Stevens, Debbie Dingell, Shri Thanedar, and Google’s Marcus Jadotte on topics including The Heartland’s Global Leadership and Technology & Global Development: Innovation in the Heartland.
On stage in Sioux City, IA, we will be joined in conversation by Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Cargill’s Michael Wagner talking about how Food Security is National & Economic Security. We will also be joined by Mayor of Sioux City Iowa, Bob Scott and former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Dan Glickman.
