Hi John,

For 30 years, Breast Cancer Action has been leading the cancer resistance and today our work to connect the dots across issues has never been more critical. We’ve changed how people think and talk about breast cancer. We’ve forced multibillion dollar corporations to clean up their acts. We’re a trusted resource for balanced treatment information. And for as long as it takes, we won’t rest until our lives and communities are not threatened by breast cancer.

Now’s the time to step up your support of Breast Cancer Action and join our Susan Stone Circle of monthly donors. With your monthly contribution you are making an investment in important social change, just like the late activist and board member for whom the circle is named.
We are working hard every day for health justice for ALL women at risk of and living with breast cancer. Right now we are running full speed to:
  • Make affordable and compassionate health care available to everyone, so no one has to face medical debt, or forgo essentials to pay for medical care, as too many do today. The Lower Drug Costs Now Act (H.R.3), which the House recently passed, is a step in the right direction, and we are urging our members to push for its passage in the Senate.
  • End fossil fuel production at the root of the breast cancer epidemic by building on early successes with California’s Governor Newsom to end fracking and dangerous drilling.
  • Pass stronger labeling and improved informed consent for breast implants at the Food and Drug Administration, so that everyone considering implants has balanced, evidence-based information.
  • To continue providing unbiased information about breast cancer diagnosis and treatment to women everywhere.
Because Breast Cancer Action doesn’t take funding from any company that profits from or contributes to breast cancer, we count on individuals like you to drive our work. Our monthly donors are so critical because activism is year-round work.

Join the Susan Stone Circle today with a monthly donation to ensure that Breast Cancer Action will have the resources we need to address and end the breast cancer epidemic.

In solidarity,
Rebecca Saltzman
