Earlier this month, Jahana stood with advocates announced her sponsorship of the Social Security 2100 Act which will bolster this essential insurance for seniors. This act will help extend the resources within the Social Security program by:
- Requiring those making $400,000 or more to begin paying their fair share into the trust fund.
- Repealing provisions such as the Windfall Elimination Provision and the Government Pension Offset that penalize retired government employees.
- Increasing social security benefits for all recipients.
