MAGA Republican Anna Paulina Luna of Florida just announced on the House floor that the vote to censure me could happen as soon as this week with GOP Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s personal support.

While the national media and political pundits focus their attention on disgraced, twice-impeached ex-president Donald Trump’s arraignment in downtown Miami on 37 federal counts returned by the grand jury, MAGA Republicans are out for revenge against me personally.

This vote to censure me could actually pass with a GOP majority.

The authors of the Big Lie are attacking me for telling the truth, and it’s blatant political retaliation for my efforts to hold Trump accountable for his abuses of power. For leading his first impeachment and Senate trial. For serving on the January 6th Committee to investigate the insurrection he incited on our Capitol. They believe I am effective — too effective — and so they’re trying to silence me.

We have to send Trump’s enablers in Congress a message loud and clear — no matter what attacks they throw at us, we will always fight back to uphold the rule of law and defend our democracy.
