As a mom of three, I know that nothing is more fundamental than the right to choose when to start or grow a family. This decision is a critical component of one’s right to autonomy, self-determination, and privacy – human rights we all have.
Our mothers, sisters, and daughters have grown up believing we were always going to have these freedoms protected. But in the past year, the Supreme Court has stripped millions of these rights by overturning Roe v. Wade and thereby opening up the floodgates for anti-abortion laws to sweep across the country.
As the only woman running for governor, I am better positioned than anyone to understand this issue, and I’m committed to keeping Washington a beacon of reproductive freedom – not just for women in our state, but also for women across the country.

That includes enforcing stronger regulations for predatory “crisis pregnancy centers” and passing the Keep Our Care Act, which would prevent unregulated hospital mergers that reduce access to reproductive services and gender-affirming care in rural areas – which will be one of my top priorities if elected governor.
As governor, I’m committed to fighting for women’s – and human – rights in our state and nationwide. So please, John, will you support my campaign for governor so I can continue to fight for these freedoms?
