The response to the message I sent earlier today letting supporters know I'll be taking some time off soon as my wife and I expect our first child together has been overwhelming.

That a bunch of people I've never met would help before this FEC deadline ends as I take some time off to spend with my family has warmed my heart more than you could possibly imagine.

But I need your help, as well.

We are probably not going to name our child John if you can contribute before our FEC deadline ends, but I can promise it will go a long way toward helping us hit our critical goals and winning this race. Hopefully that’s enough.
