My three teenagers and CEOs can agree, I’m not one for BS answers. So here
are some of the quick, no BS reasons why I’m asking for you to [ [link removed] ]make a
donation of $5, or whatever makes sense for you, ahead of
our June 30th end of quarter deadline.
What happens after June 30th?
We publicly report how much money we’ve raised these past three months to
the Federal Election Commission.
Who cares about those numbers?
The strength of our fundraising is seen as a sign of our campaign’s
promise. If our opponents, and the outside groups that plan to back them,
see our momentum waning—it could inspire them to spend even more heavily
against us.
Didn’t we just have an election?
Trust me, I know November 2022 wasn’t too long ago. But California’s
primary is just over eight months away. I’m already on the campaign trail
meeting with voters, and donations given right now will help us plan out
critical ad buys closer to Election Day.
Why does my $5 or $50 matter?
I’m one of less than a dozen Members of Congress who doesn’t take money
from federal lobbyists or corporate PACs. Our campaign truly is
people-powered.
[ [link removed] ]John,
nobody gets elected alone. I’d be so
grateful to have your support before the end of the fundraising quarter.
