I want to tell you about my greatest inspiration, friend — the reason why I decided to run for office in the first place:

I got very tired of watching cynical politicians belittle the act of caring for one another as some kind of weakness or naiveté.

Caring for our family, friends, and community is anything but a weakness. It’s our greatest strength and responsibility as Americans.

As a mom, sister, daughter, and career advocate for students and families, I know firsthand how crucial it is to have a robust support system at every stage of our lives. Too many folks struggle to make time or find the resources to be there for their loved ones when they need it most.

I believe our leaders should be making it easier for us care for one another, and certainly not setting up barriers in our paths. So, I ran for office to promote good policies that help all of us care for ourselves and one another.

From paid family leave to affordable childcare, healthcare access, lower medication costs, fair wages, quality public education, safety net programs, support for seniors, and so much more, I’m proud to be a champion for a more compassionate and cooperative future.

So, folks, that’s my “why .”

My “ how ” is keeping NV-03 blue so I can continue fighting for Nevadans in Congress — and with our FEC End-of-Quarter deadline right around the corner, I need your support right about now.
