If you’d told her that she’d grow up to be a U.S. Senator, she’d be surprised. But if you told her she’d have to take on considerable debt all to keep New Hampshire out of the hands of an election-denying MAGA extremist? She’d probably drop the doll she’s holding.

But that IS what happened. Pundits moved our race to a toss-up, polls were within the margin of error, and I was getting calls from other Senators concerned that we couldn’t win.

John, it’s nearly the end of the quarter and my campaign is STILL paying those bills down. That makes emails like this one extremely important.
