June is LGBTQIA+ Pride month and we are spotlighting New Politics candidates who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
New Politics works to elect a new generation of leaders who exemplify courage and integrity in service and take that spirit to public office. We need these folks where decisions are being made now more than ever.

🏳️🌈 Meet two of our LGBTQIA+ candidates 🏳️🌈
Representative Josey Garcia (TX-HD88), a US Air Force Veteran, mother, and lifelong advocate for children and families with disabilities. As one of only nine lawmakers in the Texas House who are openly LGBTQ+, Josey is on the front lines of the battle for updated, humane legislation that puts the safety and freedom of all families first.
Will Rollins is a former Federal prosecutor and openly gay Democrat running for Congress in California’s 41st district. Will is challenging Ken Calvert, a candidate known for his corruption and anti-LGBT hate. This race was one of the closest in the country last cycle, and he’s running to finish the job in 2024.

In times like these when individual rights are under threat from the local level all the way to the Supreme Court, it’s even more critical to have representatives in office who understand what’s at stake and have the courage to fight for it.
We’re so proud of our servant leaders at New Politics, including those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
