This is a problem: Republicans are out-raising Democrats by as much as 6-1 in state legislative races in some of the most important battleground states in the country.

Republican state legislators have used gerrymandering and voter suppression to hold back Democrats at the top of the ticket in key battlegrounds for years and we need to vote them out in 2020 to put an end to it.

We analyzed Democratic and Republican fundraising to date in the most competitive legislative battlegrounds and what we found is alarming. Take a look at what Democrats are raising compared to Republicans in key state house races in Texas, Florida, and Arizona—all critical states for redistricting:
