Brighter Future for moms!       Keys To Independence A survey by the National Coalition for the Homeless found that 30 percent of individuals report lack of transportation as a leading barrier to finding employment. When our clients receive their driver’s license and a vehicle, they are more likely to maintain their employment and/or school attendance, attend their essential medical appointments, and ultimately break the cycle of poverty. Our goal at Mother's Refuge is to empower pregnant and parenting women to obtain self-sufficiency and mobile autonomy is an important key towards achieving independence! Due to the generosity of a donor and the hard work of Bri, she and her two children now have the freedom to further their lives down the road in many ways!
