Actions for the week of June 19, 2023

Good morning activists! Hope everyone had a great Juneteenth weekend. Here are some quick and easy actions you can take to support our climate!

Action 1

🎧🌍 Listen Up

Missed some of our illuminating Climate Check podcasts? Each of these stories offers solutions to the climate crisis. You can hear them all on our website ▶️

Action 2

📣🗽 Send an Email for Climate Action!

Tell the Governor and key Albany legislators that you want real climate action in the New York State budget. They are negotiating this at the moment and having components of the NY Renews Climate, Jobs and Justice Package will help us make real progress towards fulfilling the mandates of New York’s climate law while preserving fairness to all New Yorkers. Voice your support (in one click) via NY Renews’ online tool 📨

Action 3

👋🌿 Talk to Strangers with Us

Sunday, June 25 • 11:00am–5:00pm
Domino Park, Williamsburg — 15 River Street Brooklyn, NY 11249 📍Map

On Sunday, June 25, 350Brooklyn will have a table at the Juneberry Festival in Domino Park, Williamsburg. We’ll be talking to people about heat waves and actions they can take. Can you help out for an hour or so between 11am and 5pm? We’d love to have you! Drop us a line at [email protected] if interested 🎉
