The violent threats from MAGA Republicans in the wake of Donald Trump's
indictment are flat-out dangerous.
"Eye for an eye," wrote MAGA Representative Andy Biggs on Twitter.^1
"RETRIBUTION IS COMING," wrote Kimberly Guilfoyle, Trump's former campaign
adviser and soon-to-be daughter-in-law.^2
"January 6 is gonna look like a playground. All we need is an order," a
Trump supporter declared outside the courthouse where Trump was
arrested.^3
"If you want to get to President Trump … you're going to have to go
through 75 million … card-carrying members of the NRA," shouted failed
MAGA candidate Kari Lake to a crowd in Georgia.^4 They hooted and cheered.
In the choice between protecting our national security and violent loyalty
to a neofascist wannabe despot, MAGA Republicans make no bones about where
they stand.
And we make no bones about where we stand.
Donald Trump must never become president again. Never.
But we need your help. The most corrupt president in history cannot return
to the White House, no matter the threats of violence his supporters throw

Trump's corruption appears to have actually strengthened his hand in the
Republican primary for president. After being impeached twice. Found
liable for sexual assault. Indicted for giving out hush money. And now,
after being indicted a second time, for endangering the security of our
country, Trump's lead in the presidential primary has soared to 61% over
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's 23%.^5
Perhaps even scarier, 47% of Americans believe the indictment is
politically motivated. 47%!^6
As Trump continues to lie, and as his GOP cronies continue to cover for
him and make threats, that number will only grow—unless we fight back with
every tool we have to get the truth to the American people.
We know how to push back against dangerous misinformation. We did it
during the Iraq War. We did it against Trump in 2020. And we will do it
again from now until November 2024.
We do it with the truth. Absolute, unrelenting truth. The truth about who
Trump is; the truth about his crimes; and the truth about how he must be
held accountable.
We do it by using our megaphone to reach tens of millions of Americans.
And also by compelling the corporate media to stop airing his lies. For
example, after airing his first post-arrest speech and then giving him a
free, hourlong "town hall" infomercial, CNN backed off and refused to
broadcast his latest attempt at free airtime, thanks in part to hundreds
of thousands of MoveOn members flooding them with pressure.
We understand the danger this man poses, and we will not rest until that
danger is behind us.
Please help us combat Trump's lies, hold him accountable for his crimes,
and keep him out of the White House for good. We cannot allow his
supporters to use the threat of violence to intimidate us. Will you donate
