I am writing to let you know that I am going to be taking some time off from the campaign trail soon.

It's not a bad thing -- it's a beautiful thing.

My wife and I are expecting our first child together any day now, and I am committed to being a father and a husband first in these first few weeks. You never get that moment back, and I want to make the most of it.
