Life:Powered and the TPPF team fossil-fueled down to San Antonio this week to discuss the costs and consequences of San Antonio's pending climate policies. Hint: It's high cost, high consequence, and no reward. 

     

State Level

Another day, another lawsuit for liberty! ⚖️ The Texas Public Policy Foundation filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the city of Dallas.

“Today’s lawsuit should not have been necessary. Texas courts have already found municipal ordinances mandating paid sick leave unconstitutional,” said Robert Henneke, general counsel and litigation director at the Texas Public Policy Foundation. 

     

Federal Level

Last week Fox News had a slight misstep in regards to the First Step Act, blaming it for policies that clearly predate the landmark criminal justice reform package signed into law last year.
