 I have known Emma for more than fifteen years - she is a committed and tenacious campaigner on healthcare and the NHS, and I know that she will bring that dedication to representing the people of Mid Bedfordshire.
Born and raised in Bedfordshire - Emma has the area in her heart. She is currently a Central Bedfordshire Councillor and is active across the local community. I know she will stand up and fight for a better, fairer deal for her community and the country.
Having won her Council seat with the highest vote of any councillor in Central Bedfordshire - local residents know they can trust her. She has spent years working with charities supporting disabled people and more recently managing campaigns to improve maternity care, tackle climate change and reduce pollution.
Emma is a strong local champion and will make a fantastic MP - but we can’t get her elected without your help.

| On the doorstep, the message from voters has been clear.
People are struggling with the cost of living emergency. They’re worried that local health services are at a breaking point. They’re tired of being ignored and taken for granted by the Conservatives.
They’re ready for a change.
But we can’t get complacent about the challenges ahead. The Conservatives are already spending heavily in this seat to protect their majority of over 24,000 - and Labour are going hard too.
Our resources are going to be spread thin over the coming weeks as we ramp up our campaign in Somerton & Frome too. But we need as much help as possible in both seats right now - it’s the only way to build the momentum we need to win.
Anything you can do - whether that's heading to campaign on the ground, making phone calls from afar, or donating to our by-elections fund - will make a difference.
