My Sisters and Brothers,

Juneteenth National Independence Day is an extraordinary accomplishment in the fight for equality, marking a monumental milestone in American history. The lessons left out of history books for far too long will now be taught in classrooms from coast to coast, celebrating significant progress for all Americans!

As we march ahead in our mission for equality and justice, join me in reflecting on the tremendous progress we have made. Let's celebrate this Juneteenth National Independence Day and keep up the fight for a brighter future! For events in Milwaukee, you can find information here: [link removed]. It's our 52nd annual Juneteenth Festival, one of the country's longest-running Juneteenth celebrations. Join us!
