[1]John Fetterman

John,

Today is Juneteenth — a day of celebration that commemorates the end of
the United States’ historic practice of slavery. It's a day to honor the
freedom of all people living in the United States.

Only two years ago, a bill to establish Juneteenth as a national holiday
unanimously passed the Senate + was signed into law by President Biden. It
was a long overdue step to acknowledge the long shadow of systemic racism
casts over America.

But the truth is that we still have a painfully long way to go.

We can never stop fighting to guarantee true freedom, equality, and
liberation for Black folks — in PA + across our nation. As we celebrate
today, we must recommit to the work.

Thank you, and sending lots of love to yinz + yours today,

All of us at Fetterman HQ
