Dear Neighbor, Violent crime has increased by 70% in Prince William County since Ann Wheeler, Amy Ashworth, and their allies started their aggressive implementation of pro-criminal policies in 2020. We are in the midst of the deadliest six month period in our beloved county’s history (following a 150% increase in murders in 2022). Data centers and developers run this county like never before, receiving tax breaks and paying only 50% of what they’re required in Loudoun, while the average county homeowner has seen their tax bills increase by an average of $2,200 in the last four years. This isn’t campaign hyperbole. These are the facts. Cause and effect trends that will only accelerate and worsen with another term of Ann Wheeler dictating county policy. Tomorrow, you can begin to change that. My friend and colleague, Jeanine Lawson, has always stood up for our brave first responders, voting to increase the number of police officers, their pay, and against the pro-crime policies that have caused the crime epidemic we’re living through in Prince William County...with no end in sight. She has voted against each and every residential tax increase proposed by Wheeler and her majority (in addition to the Meals Tax) joining with me each and every year to lower your taxes. And she was *the supervisor* who proposed raising the tax rate on data centers earlier this year (over Ann Wheeler’s objections). The contrast this year cannot be more clear. If you’re tired of the Wheeler induced crime wave, then I ask you to join me in voting tomorrow for Jeanine Lawson. If you want to put people over data centers and developers, join me in voting tomorrow for Jeanine Lawson. Wheeler, and Jeanine’s primary opponent stand to gain personally from the destruction of our environment, the Rural Crescent, and Manassas Battlefield via the “Prince William Digital Gateway.” They’re so interlinked that Jeanine’s primary opponent has donated money to Wheeler’s re-elect and every other board member that voted to fast-track the Digital Gateway monstrosity. We can defeat this type of uni-party cabal that has been taking our county down the wrong path, beginning tomorrow. Jeanine has fought alongside me for the last four years to put the citizens of Prince William County first on matters of public safety, taxes, and development. If you haven’t yet voted early I ask you to join me tomorrow in taking the first step to reverse course from this disastrous period and save our beloved Prince William County.
