Dear Friend, A neglected "backyard dog" without adequate shelter will spend this Valentine's Day shivering and alone, struggling to survive—but some dogs like this won't survive until spring. Your gift right now will help provide a dog in need with a life-changing doghouse and other necessities. Please, pitch in just $3 or more now to give love and hope to a cold dog this Valentine's Day. Our friends at v-dog will also donate a 5-pound bag of healthy vegan dog food when you make a gift! ![]() When you make a gift of just $3 or more this Valentine's Day, you'll be providing a dog in need with life-changing shelter and care. With every doghouse that we deliver, PETA's fieldworkers also take a toy to help break the monotony of life in a barren backyard, and when needed, we give dogs treatment for fleas, ticks, and other parasites. While our fieldworkers do their best to persuade every owner they meet to let a dog live indoors or to let us have the dog so that we can give them a chance at adoption, some owners refuse. Then we do all that we can to make that dog's life a little less miserable. We're determined to ensure that every dog gets the love and affection they deserve—it's the only kindness that some of them have ever experienced in their entire lives. Be a valentine for a lonely dog today. Yours may be the gift that changes a life. |
