On Juneteenth, a day of profound significance and reflection, I want to honor the rich history and enduring spirit of resilience within the African American community.

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, reminds us of the indomitable human spirit and the relentless pursuit of justice and equality.

Let us acknowledge the struggles and sacrifices of those before us and recognize the work that remains in the pursuit of true equality. It is a day to reflect on our progress, celebrate our shared accomplishments, and recommit ourselves to the ongoing fight for justice and equality.

At the Arizona Democratic Party, we firmly believe in equality, justice, and opportunity for all. Our commitment to these values extends beyond Juneteenth. It is ingrained in our mission to build a better state where every Arizonan has access to quality education, affordable healthcare, and economic prosperity.
