In a recent communication, paid for with your tax dollars, Pete Stauber falsely claimed credit for funding the US Highway 8 Reconstruction Project.
This is a lie. Pete Stauber voted NO on the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The bipartisan effort of other members of Congress made this project and the associated job opportunities possible for the Eighth District.
Stauber's vote against the bill was a missed opportunity to prioritize our district's needs. Instead of supporting legislation that benefited us, he chose to oppose progress. It is concerning that he now tries to mislead constituents about his role in securing funding for the project.
