Tomorrow is Election Day in Virginia. It’s time to leave everything on the field and fight for reproductive freedom in Virginia.

There is so much on the line tomorrow. We need to ensure Lashrecse Aird defeats Joe Morrissey. If he wins, he is setting a dangerous precedent that it is okay to be a Democrat and be pro-life.

But it’s not. Being a Democrat means fighting for reproductive freedom always. That’s where Lashrecse comes in. We endorsed Lashrecse because she is a trusted legislator who will protect abortion access in every way possible. We know how vital a pro-choice majority is in Richmond, and that all starts tomorrow.

This is go time. We have no time to waste – can you rush $25 or whatever you can to ensure Lashrecse has everything she needs to WIN? → ([link removed])

Joe Morrissey is a dangerous legislator. He has voted repeatedly against abortion access and even spent time behind bars for having a relationship with his 17-year-old employee – yikes!

He is the WRONG candidate for the job. Meanwhile, our endorsed candidate Lashrecse won Legislator of the Year in 2021 from the Virginia Education Association. She has protected our schools, uplifted our communities, and, most importantly, fought for abortion care protections.

Today commemorates when the last group of enslaved Black people in Texas learned that they were freed. We are honoring this holiday by recommitting to the fight for a more just and equitable world for everyone, and we hope you will join us in learning more and recommitting to this fight.
