Happy Juneteenth, friends!
Today, we’re commemorating the end of slavery in America after the Civil War.
After hundreds of years of oppression, enslaved Black Americans were emancipated. However, it is crucial to recognize that the fight for justice did not end with the abolition of slavery.
And today, our nation continues to grapple with the profound effects of systemic racism within our criminal justice system. Incarceration rates remain alarmingly high, disproportionately affecting communities of color.
URGENT: This Juneteenth we’re calling on Congress to PASS comprehensive criminal justice reform to make our justice system fairer. We need 1,500 signatures! Add your name here >>
We are in urgent need of policies that address the root cause of mass incarceration.
By advocating for sensible reforms, we can work towards ending racial disparities in our justice system and fostering a society that values rehabilitation and second chances.
It is time to dismantle the barriers that prevent people from rebuilding their lives and communities from healing.
We’re collecting 1,500 signatures urging Congress to PASS criminal justice reform. Add your name >>
With your continued support, we CAN bring about change and justice to create a more equitable America.
Together, ALWAYS!
