The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Claudia Tenney for Congress in New York’s 22nd Congressional District. As an attorney, business owner, and single mother born and raised in the district, Claudia Tenney has been a staunch advocate for NY-22 as a private citizen, former New York State Assemblywoman (2011-2016), and U.S. Congresswoman (2016-2018). We need to send her back to Washington to expose and defeat the resurgence of socialism underway within the United States Congress.
The New York Young Republican Club urges all voters within New York’s 22nd Congressional District to stop the advance of socialism by supporting Claudia Tenney to be their next congresswoman.

** Statement on Recent Police Shootings & Bail Reform

The New York Young Republican Club is deeply disturbed by the news over the weekend of shootings targeting New York City Police Officers. Bill de Blasio, Andrew Cuomo, and stalwart leftists across the United States continue to champion or remain alarmingly silent on anti-police rhetoric growing more and more commonplace in the name of ‘progressivism’. This irresponsible language incited lunatics like accused cop shooter Robert Williams and likely played a role in this weekend’s shootings as well.

** Establishing Tax Deductions for Adoptions
------------------------------------------------------------
Bill S.7685-Espaillat/A.10154-Crespo, the Adoption Tax Deduction Bill, would provide a personal income tax deduction for fees and expenses incurred in connection with the adoption of a child in New York’s foster care system during a given tax year. This bill is a common-sense, pro-child measure, and it deserves immediate enactment.
