Why we are 350: Scientists overwhelmingly agree that 350ppm CO2 is the upper limit to sustain life as humans have lived it. For 800,000+ years atmospheric CO2 varied between roughly 180 to 280ppm (graphic).

We are at a decisive moment in our battle against the climate crisis.

Our financial systems—created to foster prosperity and ensure stability—are instead enabling the destruction of our planet, our communities, and our future. The crux of the issue is the fossil fuel industry’s undue influence over our global economy.

This is where our own Federal Reserve, a member of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and one of 63 central banks worldwide, has a vital role to play. They hold the levers of our financial system, controlling the flow of money that fuels damaging fossil fuel exploration, expansion, and deforestation. It's time we demand they use this influence responsibly.

We urgently invite you to sign this petition. We need to demand that the BIS and other central banks, including our Federal Reserve, prioritize the security and well-being of American families and our planet over the short-term profits of fossil fuel industries.

Fridays from 12:00 - 1:00 pm

Chase & Wells Fargo Banks

Many banks (including Chase and Wells Fargo) are lending their depositor's money to fossil fuel companies to develop new fossil fuel production.

We want more people to be aware of this and hopefully change their bank or talk to the bank management!

We get honks and thumbs up from drivers and passersby.  Some people stop and have a chat about what the banks are doing, or ask, "What is fossil fuel?"

We're alternating between two Chase Bank locations.
