Our next Government Affairs & Economic Development Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 21 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on the Zoom platform. We will be hearing a presentation on the Performance Parking Pilot Project, with Project Manager Melissa McMahon. Following the presentation we will also hear from Bob Bushkoff, Vice President of the Dittmar Company, who will be speaking about the Arlington Sign Ordinance and the plans to modernize it.

The Arlington Chamber of Commerce is proud to serve as one of the participating hosts for this year's Virginia Forum on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
The Virginia Chamber Foundation and the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority are hosting a forum that will bring together business leaders from across the state to discuss the importance of DE&I to the Commonwealth’s workforce and the critical role it plays in Virginia’s economic growth and prosperity.

State of the County & Public Safety Awards

The State of the County & Public Safety Awards is a celebration of Arlington's economic achievements, the community's future, and all who make the area an excellent place to live and work. At this event, emceed by ABC7/WJLA's Victoria Sanchez, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the County’s economic and developmental status from Arlington County Board Chair, Christian Dorsey. We will also honor our public safety personnel and first responders from Arlington County’s Fire Department, Police Department, Office of Public Safety Communications & Emergency Management, and Office of the Sheriff, who have exemplified extraordinary heroic actions and exceptional performance of their duties.
