Education Publishing Giant Hides Evidence of Radical Agenda After Heritage Report |
Busted: In a recent report, Heritage Foundation senior research fellow Jonathan Butcher revealed that British publishing giant Pearson, the world’s largest education-content publisher, infuses radical and discriminatory ideologies, such as “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) and critical race theory (CRT), into its content.
- The publishing giant, which had a hand in producing Common Core, also manages a teacher licensing assessment program for more than 600 universities in over 40 states and helped to develop USA Hire, which more than 40 federal agencies use to vet job applicants. Read the report here.
Vanishing Act: Shortly after Heritage published the report, Pearson stripped its website of its editorial guidelines that spelled out its commitment to “antiracism,” “colorism,” “colonial discourse,” “genderism,” and “intersectionality.”
- Pearson also clandestinely restricted access to one of its teaching videos that promotes CRT around the same time that its director of media relations told Fox News that Pearson doesn’t include CRT in its K-12 content.
