I wanted to share with you some incredible news!  Emerson Polling released a comprehensive poll that has us leading Sen. Tillis by SEVEN points!!  This is due to your hard work and support.  We are the only campaign that leads Tillis outside the margin of error.  If the election were tomorrow, we would beat him decisively.  

The poll stated, "Republican Senator Thom Tillis appears to be in a vulnerable position facing re-election against potential Democratic Opponent, State Senator Erica Smith, who leads Tillis 46% to 39%, with 15% of voters undecided." 

While the poll is exciting, it is not surprising.  The Senate is going into August recess and Tillis does not have one public event scheduled to hear from his constituents.  It makes sense, I wouldn't want to defend his record either!  We deserve better.  I will always be available to hear your concerns and ideas about how to make NC a state that works for all of its citizens.
