Friend --

New Zealand First is fighting to take New Zealand back - everyday we're seeing our country change for the worse. We're actively advocating for kiwis like yourself, fighting for balanced and common sense ideas to prevail.

The Rt Hon Winston Peters continues to tour the country, listening to everyday New Zealanders. At our latest public meeting in Cambridge Winston Peters blasted both sides of the political divide and their extremisms. New Zealanders need solutions that grow our economic and social wealth, not just ideological gaslighting. Read the full speech here <[link removed]>.

Week on week we comment outside of mainstream media on issues relevant to the people. Some of Winston's weekly words include;

- Our free speech will not exist <[link removed]>. It has been reported that the government is proposing a new ‘media regulator’ to act as big brother. The fact that in the midst of peak cancel culture our government is planning this should send shivers down New Zealander's spines.

- People have had enough <[link removed]> of feeling unsafe and intimidated by arrogant thugs. The Police Minister has shown how out of touch with reality she really is <[link removed]>. We need to start holding offenders to account <[link removed]> with sentences that say we aren’t putting up with it any longer.

- The Mongrel Mob and other gangs <[link removed]> seem all too ready and willing to take away the rights and freedoms of law-abiding citizens – this needs to stop right here, right now. This is what happens when there are no consequences <[link removed]>. New Zealand First policy is to outlaw gangs and declare them terrorists <[link removed]>.

- We have clearly biased media in New Zealand conditioned now to publish what they believe is true - not what is fact <[link removed]>. There is only one reasonable conclusion for New Zealand First being omitted from their articles – the continuation of the long held bias being shown by both Andrea Vance and Stuff <[link removed]>. In New Zealand we once had quality investigative journalists, that is why we are launching a petition calling for a Royal Commission of Inquiry into media bias and manipulation <[link removed]> in New Zealand.

Shane Jones: World Health Organisation needs reform - not fattening

Covid-19 was a singular test of the World Health Organisation and every country’s preparedness. The initial response showed a lack of preparedness at WHO and in many countries, including New Zealand.

Unfortunately, MFAT’s multi-lateral Pharisees are currently reproducing failure by backing treaty negotiations in Geneva where a proposal is to give WHO binding legal powers over countries.

No doubt their ambitions are fuelled by the political belief they excelled at home. Meanwhile, no one in the Beehive can tell us how we are better prepared for the next pandemic.

To understand how foolish it is to hand more power to WHO, we need to remember what has just happened.

Winston Peters: 2023 New Zealand's Inflection Point

All around New Zealand there is a growing anxiety, old and young, country and city, about where our nation is heading. In nearly every measurement of international comparison, our country sadly is in decline.

Whether it be the ability of individuals and families to cope with the rising costs of living, the escalating cost of housing, proper access to a first world health system, the promise of a world leading education system, first would wages, or personal security in our homes and on our streets, a growing number of New Zealanders are seriously worried and have every right to be.

Petition: All Gangs Should Be Designated Terrorist Entities

Gangs are a blight on our society and do nothing but seek to profit and power off the misery and intimidation of law abiding kiwis.  They continue to terrorise kiwis and we have had a gutsful of the deterioration of law and order they bring with them.

New Zealand First calls for all gangs to be designated 'terrorist entities' under the Terrorism Suppression Act 2022. The Prime Minister has the power under the Terrorism Suppression Act 2022 to designate individuals or groups as terrorist entities.
