Our Democracy Needs You To Attend Your Precinct Meeting On Saturday

 

Are you concerned about the future of our Democracy?

Alarmed by the slide toward authoritarian government?

Appalled by the corruption?

Dismayed by the systematic destruction of the rule of law?

 

Your first best step to address those concerns is to attend your precinct meeting this Saturday. Political power begins at the grass roots, and your precinct is the foundational building block of the Democratic Party.

 

Because this is a presidential election year you have one chance to attend your precinct organization meeting. This year they are all held on this Saturday, February 15th. If you have other things going on this Saturday, please consider whether they outweigh saving our Democracy. Precinct meetings typically require only an hour or two, so you may be able to fit the precinct meeting into your plans.

We will probably be seeing the effects of this election for decades, if not generations. I know you don't want to wake up on November 4th wishing you had done more. Act now to avoid that regret.
