Happy Father’s Day!

Today is my second Father’s Day as a dad to Lillian. If you can believe it, she’s now 15 months old, and I’m elated to share her first words are “Da-Da” and “Doggie.” My hard work has clearly paid off.

I heard that being a dad was the best job in the world, but you could not prepare me for the immense pride I feel. I’ll give you a perfect example:

A few months ago Lillian raced in the annual Ripon Almond Blossom Diaper Derby where babies compete to see who can crawl to their parents fastest. Yes, it’s real and the competition is fierce. Well, you are looking at the proud father of Lillian, Ripon’s 3rd place Diaper Derby finisher!

I couldn’t be more grateful for the joy Lillian has brought into mine and Pam’s lives. I hope you all have a wonderful Father’s Day.
