John, Happy Father's Day! This Father's Day, I am filled with gratitude for the men who have guided and inspired me along the path of fatherhood. From Ken, Bob, and Tony — my father, step-father, and father-in-law — each of them has left a lasting imprint on my life, teaching me how to be a better father, husband, and leader. While I am proud to represent our state, my most important job in life has always been to be a dad to my three kids — Mike, Jack, and Margaret. Watching them grow into kind, compassionate, and creative adults has been the greatest privilege of my life. I thank my wife, Annie, for her patience and love as my wife and mother to our children. I extend my warmest wishes to all the dads and father figures in Delaware and across the country.
