I wanted to take a moment to tell you exactly why I’m in this fight and, yes, explain why adding a grassroots donation to our campaign is so critical today.
I’m the Senate’s only working dirt farmer. I come from a town of hundreds, not thousands. My internet regularly cuts out. I still live on the very same land that my grandparents homesteaded in 1912.
I’m worried the Montana I grew up in is changing. Hardworking families are struggling to afford a roof over their heads and bad actors are trying to carve up our public lands for their own profit.

There are a lot of things that make Montana special—our Big Sky sunsets, our beautiful wild spaces, our grade-A beef, and the rural communities that power our country.
I will never stop fighting for our Montana way of life. I’m in this race for you and your family—and that will never change—but it’ll be my toughest fight yet. Which means I’ll need your support more than ever before.
