One of NOW’s great strengths is our grassroots—the NOW members and chapter leaders who take our forward feminist agenda into the community, carrying on the legacy of unapologetic, intersectional advocacy.

The work of NOW members across the country is critical to our mission. But without committed monthly sustainers, we risk being caught unprepared or unable to respond to attacks from the far right. Without your contribution, the legacy of NOW could end when we need it the most.

The world before NOW was a very dark time for women. Our foremothers came together and created a feminist community, not just nationally, but in neighborhoods and states, and we need your support to continue to make history.

NOW came about at a time where women’s voices needed to be elevated and we really needed to shine the spotlight on equity and inclusion. My grandmother is a NOW member, my mother is a NOW member, I am a NOW member, and I hope to enlist my daughter who is four years old to become a NOW member as well.
