Team — What’s happening in Ohio right now is a direct result of the action voters have taken nationwide to protect abortion access after the fall of Roe v. Wade:

FIRST → In the November 2022 midterms, voters in Vermont, California, and Michigan passed ballot measures to permanently protect abortion access in their states. AND, voters in Kentucky and Montana struck down ballot measures that would have banned access to abortion.

THEN → Anti-choice extremists in Ohio were terrified by other red and purple states protecting abortion, so an extremist-packed state legislature referred a measure to the ballot — a move that requires a special election this August expected to cost taxpayers millions of dollars — in hopes of making ballot measures (especially one to protect abortion) impossible to pass.

NOW → These same extremists are going so far as to mislead voters about what this vote really means. They’re framing this special election as a move to ensure voter protection, when really this is nothing more than anti-choice voter suppression.

We MUST fight back. Our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign fund is at the ready to defend voters from this anti-democratic attack. Will you rush a donation to help us protect the power of direct democracy in Ohio and across the country?
