On a more serious note, I want to say on this Father’s Day— here's to the dads.
Here’s to the sleepless nights full of every-other-hour feedings, diaper changes, and “I don’t KNOW why they’re crying, they just are!”
To the evenings staying up late for “just one more story” and “curfew was three hours ago!”
But also to the proud moments, life lessons, and the memories that will last a lifetime (and the courage to wear cargo shorts when you simply need more pockets).
To all the fathers and father figures out there, we at the CT Dems want to wish you a very happy Father’s Day.
Cheers to all my fellow dads out there - I raise my “Cup of Joe” to you on our special day. Thank you for all you’ve done, and all you will continue to do.
