John,
President Biden often says: “Show me your budget and I’ll show you what you value.”
Right now, House Republicans are rushing through a $1 trillion tax package heavily tilted to the ultra-wealthy, billion-dollar corporations, and foreign investors while simultaneously cutting hundreds of millions of dollars from WIC funding, revoking green energy tax credits, and threatening cuts that go beyond the caps and cuts agreed to in the debt ceiling debate.
We’re fighting back!
With votes in the House expected to begin this week, rush a donation today to fight back against a Republican tax package for the rich and corporations and demand Congress instead make critical investments in our families and communities.

John,
The House could vote as early as next week on a tax package that hands more than $1 trillion to the wealthy, corporations, and foreign investors.1 This is on top of their plans to make all aspects of the Trump tax cuts permanent, which would cost $3.5 trillion.2
But where is Congress on critical human needs? The slim majority on the House Appropriations Committee has voted to cut $800 million from the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). And, the House tax-writing committee wants to revoke critical green energy tax credits, which are meant to speed our transition away from dirty, polluting fossil fuels and toward a renewable energy future.
CHN and our allies are sending thousands of messages to Congress right now to reject more tax cuts for the rich and corporations and instead to invest in our families and communities. Rush a donation today to fight back against a Republican tax plan for the 1% and billion-dollar corporations.
DONATE
Instead of tax cuts for the rich, Congress should be investing in programs such as the newly introduced American Family Act, which would bring back the very popular expanded Child Tax Credit that previously lifted millions of children out of poverty.
Instead of tax cuts for the rich, Congress should be expanding nutrition programs for women, children, and people with low incomes including WIC and SNAP.
Instead of tax cuts for the rich, Congress should be investing in housing programs for vulnerable people and families at a time of rising homelessness and massive housing crunch across the country.
With votes expected as early as next week, rush a donation today to power our activism and advocacy to stop the Republican tax plan and demand Congress invest in children, families, and people with low incomes.

We must hold members of Congress accountable who vote for caps and cuts to critical human needs and then turn around and attempt to hand massive tax breaks to the rich and corporations.
Thank you for fighting back,
