Happy Father's Day!

Special Olympics dads — and father figures — play a vital role in powering our movement. To the dads who wake up early to train side-by-side or to the coaches who model patience and determination, we are so grateful for the fathers who are athletes, fans, coaches, volunteers, staff and cheerleaders.

Join us today in honoring the countless Special Olympics dads who provide unwavering support to athletes as they chase their dreams. Contribute to Special Olympics today in honor of the father or father figure in your life!

Donate in Honor of Dads Like James

Josh, a South Carolina athlete, has been competing for over 30 years. And to him, Special Olympics is not just about sports. Josh is a classically trained opera singer, a Global Messenger advocating for inclusion, and, to top it all, a college graduate.

And his biggest supporter? His dad, James, who has never left his side. His unwavering support has given Josh the power to do anything he sets his mind to. But to James, “I’m just a typical dad who is proud of his son”.

And now? This Father and Son duo are competing side-by-side as a Unified Pair at the 2023 Special Olympics World Games in Berlin this week.

Your donation today will help build a more inclusive and compassionate world for everyone: athletes, parents, coaches, and Unified Partners like Josh and James. Make a gift in honor of an awesome dad or father figure in your life >>

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads. Thanks for everything you do.

We love you,

The Special Olympics Team
