*What's New:*

As a strong champion of Medicare Advantage, I recently
urged [link 1] the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to
protect and strengthen this program and support policies that will
enhance beneficiary experience and increase access to coverage. Nearly 20%
of Montana seniors and people with disabilities receive their
Medicare coverage through a Medicare Advantage plan, and I am helping to lead
the fight to protect and enhance these benefits.

Specifically, I
have introduced bipartisan legislation [link 2] to ensure Medicare
Advantage beneficiaries receive the full benefits to which they're entitled.
Unfortunately, an unintended Obamacare policy is shortchanging many
seniors some coverage benefits.

Why It Matters: *

Medicare Advantage
beneficiaries in Montana and across the country overwhelmingly like
their Medicare plan. These plans tend to offer more benefits, high
value coverage, and better health outcomes - all at a lower cost - making
them very popular.

I believe it is crucial that Montana seniors and
people with disabilities continue to have the choice of receiving their
Medicare coverage through either traditional Medicare or a Medicare
Advantage plan.

What's Next:*

I will continue to champion Medicare
Advantage and fight to get my legislation signed into law to ensure
seniors in Montana receive the full measure of their
benefits.
