Hey, it's Mike from The Beach Boys. As a proud dad and grandfather, I can't wait to celebrate Father's Day with my family tomorrow. But for so many military families, holidays like tomorrow are extremely difficult. With fathers deployed near and far, many military dads won't get the chance to hug their kids this weekend, and that breaks my heart.
Military families sacrifice so much for us, and the least we can do is ensure our brave heroes don't feel forgotten today. That’s why I’m partnering with the USO to get at least 75,000 signatures via email on our Father’s Day card to show military dads our support and gratitude — and we're counting on this community of patriotic supporters to help us get there. Please, in honor of all the brave fathers fighting to protect our freedoms, will you join me and sign the card to wish them a Happy Father's Day?
After performing for service members and their families at the 2020 USO July 4th MVP Special, I learned firsthand how important connections to home can be. Whether that be through music or something as simple as a thank-you card, I'm proud to partner with the USO to ensure our troops stay connected to family, home and country during long and difficult deployments.
