John, I hope you saw my invite to our Week of Action to save the Affordable Connectivity Program. RSVP now to join us and help protect Internet access for millions of people!
John, we need your help to protect Internet access for millions of people. That’s because if we don’t act quickly, the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which helps low-income households afford home Internet is under serious threat of being defunded. [1]
This program remains a critical lifeline for the 18 million Americans who use it – which is why we’re launching our Affordable Connectivity Program Week of Action to save it! You can help by calling Congress about ACP funding, writing to your local paper to raise awareness, helping eligible people get connected, and more.
We’re kicking the Week Of Action off this Tuesday, June 20th at 4pm ET to call Congress and demand they save the ACP and fund the program keeping 18 million Americans connected. RSVP now to join us!

The Affordable Connectivity Program makes a big difference for our democracy. Why? Because more and more, voters around the country rely on the Internet to participate – from online voter registration, to researching candidates, to requesting mail-in ballots.
But 1 in 5 households still don’t have access to their own home Internet! That’s why establishing the ACP was a huge deal – signing up 18 million people to get discounted or free internet access.
The ACP is a federal program that provides eligible households $30 per month towards their internet bill ($75 per month for those on Tribal lands) & up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop, or tablet. [2]
But now, without our immediate action – and newly empowered right-wing lawmakers demanding huge cuts, this program could be left unfunded – and leave millions of households without Internet access right before the 2024 elections!
Join us for our Week of Action as we call on Congress to fund this critical program, and help us spread the word to eligible households.
I hope to see you on Tuesday to help save the ACP!
Thanks for all you do,
