When we think of Father’s Day, we think of “World's #1 Dad” mugs and baseball games. We think of grilling summer meats and prideful speeches with tears at the end. What do you think about, John?

Because we can’t think about Father’s Day without thinking about the thousands of children who lose their parents to gun violence in this country. In 2020, more than 3,600 children lost their mother or father in a shooting. 3,600 children.

Have you ever lost your parent? Do you know how terrifying it is to learn about gun violence at such a young age? Do you believe our nation's next generation should be introduced to the indescribable pain of grief so soon?
