This week we officially mark one year since the passage of the first law to address gun violence in 30 years, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. As these impactful policies and resources continue to save lives, we always knew that this bill was a first step of many towards ending the public health crisis of gun violence.
Last week we joined Senators Murphy, Senator Blumenthal, gun violence survivors, activists and President Biden at the 'Safer Communities Summit' to explore how this bill is saving lives and what's next for the movement.
