Our nation has endured far too much suffering due to gun violence epidemic. Each day, 30 lives are tragically lost, and hundreds more individuals are injured.

Nothing is more important than the safety of our families and our communities, that is why I have taken the initiative to introduce bipartisan legislation aimed at implementing universal background checks and closing dangerous loopholes. In Congress, I am leading the effort to compel House Leadership to put gun violence prevention legislation on the floor to save lives.

If you are interested in actively participating in the advocacy for gun violence prevention, I invite you to join us on Saturday, June 24 for Rock the Ride Napa Valley!
